DESCRIPTION
Developed as a kinetic typography project using Adobe After Effects, EMOTION is a visual exploration of how language and motion can convey human feelings. Bridging two distinct linguistic systems, English and Japanese, the project animates the visual etymology of Japanese logograms. By translating literal concepts, such as a ‘smiling face’ for a smile or ‘shedding tears’ for crying, into dynamic animations, it transforms static characters into expressive visual narratives.
